If you walk into the Forge Commons this week, you may think you were on the set of Master Chef Junior! Mixing bowls, measuring spoons, spatulas, whisks along with flour, sugar, and even some surprise ingredients were flying around the hands of our VT 4th graders. In preparation for Mosaic, which will be on April 23rd, 4G had a ‘waffle off’ this week. The students were placed in groups and had to come up with a unique waffle recipe that will be taste-tested and judged based on recipe accuracy and flavor. Some groups had fruit, some had chocolate chips and there were even rumors floating around of a group using Hot Cheetos and Takis!
