Students in PreK are learning about everyday heroes in Social Studies. For the next few weeks, they will be learning about helpers in our very own school community. Well, our Superintendent, Mr. Williams showed up and showed out! He took a visit to all of VT’s PreK classrooms and talked about his role in the school community as well as Ms. Olmstead’s role. Not only that, he wrote and song and played it based on the famous tune from Sesame Street, “People in Your Neighborhood”. From lots of handclaps, signing and dancing it was easy to tell the PreK students loved the special performance. We love getting involved in the classroom in anyway possible and are so excited our students had this experience. If you see a VT PreK student around, you may just want to ask them to sing it for you!
