¡Grito!

Village Tech is fortunate to have the Multicultural Advocate Group, ¡Grito!, who has been translating our internal and external communications so that we can provide bilingual translations in English and Spanish to parents, staff, and students.

“We focus on translation at our school. There is a language barrier at our school that’s only limited to English, and we want to include Spanish families and Spanish-speaking people that go to our school, and create a sense of belonging,” said Trujillo.

Currently they translate posters, host assemblies and events, and bring cultural awareness to VT. Be on the lookout for bilingual tours and the opportunity for more Spanish translations around Village Tech!
